Tip: CASSEROLE MINISTRY There is an exciting ministry initiated by a group of our women – a casserole ministry. What is it? It is a ministry to those of our Church who are experiencing some sort of crisis, or moved, or have had a baby etc. It requires all of us to keep our ears to the ground to be aware of people (individuals or a family) who might benefit by having a casserole delivered to their door to help them through their difficult time. There are a number of our congregation who have volunteered to cook casseroles in disposable containers and to deliver them. These are frozen and stored. When a need is recognised a phone call can be made to Evelyn Byron (9816 1142) Nancy Anderson (9816 2603) or the Church Office and it will be organised for a casserole to be delivered to the person in need. (Please advise us if any person has a food allergy) This is an important part of our pastoral care – something that we can all be involved in.
